[ Right now he doesn't even attempt to stop the tears from falling. Just lets them continue to fall. ]

Which he wants to doubt the plan - whatever it is - but both of them are counting on him to do his part.

[ Everything is fine and normal... well as normal as they can get in the situation.
But then Akira has to go and say that to him. Nico's eyes go wide, his full face flushes because no one has outright said that. Sure, Vanitas has hinted what he'd like...
He stares at the other teen for a very long minute. ]
Baka... [ His voice is fond even with that one word.
Nico proceeds to lean in to give him a kiss, longer and lingering and oh so grateful. ]
[And Akira presses back, still eager and sinking into it fully despite the situation... He can't help but bring a hand up to cradle Nico's face, his thumb swiping over the damp skin.]
[ His whole body shifts, one leg moving so that he's straddling Akira's lap though keeping a semi-respectable distance considering they are currently outside and not yet dating.
Hands come up, his right sliding up starting at Akira's heart until it rests on his shoulder while the other dives gently into the other's hair. Nico pulls back after a long minute and presses their foreheads together. ]
I like you... a lot. And I want to try this. All three of us. [ This plan - whatever it all involves, he's trusting them both. ] So think about being my boyfriend too. Please.
[ They'll have to leave soon for the voting and execution, not really the time to gain a new boyfriend. ]
[ There's a small smile when Akira agrees to think about it. Nico can't help but press another short, but sweet kiss to his lips. ]
I'm glad.
[ Even though the other says that and Nico nods in agreement, he's just going to stay there for another minute. Gazing at Akira's face with a softness and wonderment he hasn't before. Just absorbing the fact that he isn't being pushed away. Finally: ]
Yeah. [ He's very reluctant to unwrap himself and get to his feet, but he manages. Then Nico holds out a hand and should Akira take it - will find that he's stronger than appearances imply. ]
If there's ever anything you want to know about me, just ask. If it's you, I could probably say it all.
He loses his breath at that fond, lingering gaze, feeling his face heat.
He lets Nico take his time in pulling away. When he gets up and says that to him, there's a brief flash of doubt in Akira's eyes. His brow tenses, but only for a moment. And then he reaches out and lets the other boy help him up.]
